1996 Art Deco table lighter new in the box. This lighter retails for $10,000.00 new on a Dupont Collector's website, and $7,500.00 in used condition. We have had this in our store since ordering it from S. T. Dupont that year, and it is the last piece of the 1996 Art Deco collection we have left and have decided to put it on the market. The 24k gold plating is six times thicker than regular gold plating, and the finish is rare Chinese lacquer. It is #206 of 500 and was made only during that year. All paper work is present with this gorgeous piece: the limited edition authentication card, the guarantee card, and the hard cover book that holds them both, the art deco collection booklet, the Jeroboam owner's manual, the Chinese lacquer certificate, and the the accordian-folded list of international service centers - complete as it came to us from the factory. This is a very rare piece; one that does not seem to hit the collector's market very often.
